Board of Trustees meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 5:00 pm at SBECA (801 E. 156th Street, Bronx, NY 10455), unless otherwise noted, and are open to the public.

Public Comment at Board Meetings:
The purpose of public comment is for the Board of Directors to hear, as a whole, comments that are related to agenda items and school business. During this public comment period, which is not to exceed twenty (20) minutes in total duration and three (3) minutes per speaker, the Board will hear comments from students, parents, employees, district residents, district property and business owners. The Board President will recognize speakers who have signed up to participate at the beginning of the meeting. Speakers will state their name, organization they represent, if applicable, and the agenda item or school matter they wish to discuss. Speakers are not to address individual Board members, but rather the entire group. Speakers are expected to comply with SBECA public comment protocols, which are enforced by the Board Chair.
